Hope , Now you are little bit aware about what Geo-Technical engineering is all about. We had studied Soil mechanics , Rock Mechanics, Foundation Engineering and how Geo-Technical Engineers works . Moreover , a new concept of Zero Budget Farming which i believe will be helpful in future not only in agricultural but also in Civil engineering
Carrier ,Perspective and Scope :
- Making carrier as Geo-Technical engineer is one of the auspicious thing. Government and private sector jobs are available for Geo-Technical Engineers . Moreover self - employment opportunities are also available for them .
- PWD, Municipal Corporations, Government Port Trust, NHAI, Indian Railways etc. are some of well known Government sectors recruiters.
- Construction Firms, Consultation Agencies, Infrastructure Development Firms, Mining Firms etc. are well known private sector recruiters.
- Apart from this , firms involved in mining, extraction of petroleum, submarine pipelines and natural gas are known to hire Geo-Technical Engineers. These are further divided as off - shore and on - shore Geo-Technical Engineering.
- One can get teaching jobs after pursuing Master's course . Very often thing come in mind starting a consultancy firm is a path to self employment .
- Talking about self employment, starting a consultancy firm is the first thing that comes to my mind. After starting such a venture, one may cater to clients such as infrastructure developers, Government enterprises and builders.
